I don't get it...
Everyone gets spam. It's become a part of the whole internet "experience". You can try and block it, you can re-route it, you can even make throw-away accounts to try and avoid it, but you still somehow get it. It's bad enough that you can't avoid it, but some of the shit that's coming in now makes these fuckers look like the most illiterate trash-mongers alive.
I get an email from some unknown person named Katahleen Elfreda today (yes I spelled it correctly), entitled how r u? Yes, I know, stupid title. It's pretty common title for emails of the sort. It just goes to show the ignorance of some people. So I decided to open it up and see what it says. It's a bunch of illiterate drivel consisting of misspelled words, poor grammar and claims that absolutely no one can provide. Apparently they have become "wise" to all of us people that have decided we don't want this crap in our mailbox and decided sending us disjointed garbage will sell their product. Now, I don't know of any person in their right mind who would fall for this. Apparently there are still a few of you out there, because I get twenty to 25 emails a day with this garbage in it! If you people would quit opening these things and learn how to set your filters correctly to delete them as they come in, these people would be out of a job in under three months. You say you don't know how to set up your filters correctly? You are on the Internet. Use a search engine! Figure out for yourself how to set up your filters correctly so you don't have to worry about this! Take some time out of your busy schedule and do a little research. There are thousands of web sites out there ready to help you if you look for a little while.
And, on a side note, this entire post was dictated using Microsoft's dictation software That is built into Windows XP. I can't type really well, so I decided to try this as an alternative. A couple of minor corrections here and there and turns out perfect.

Have to agree with you on all fronts regarding spam and it's dismal spiral into utter stupidity. I get the feeling kids are being targeted by recent efforts; my little nieces send mail with similar topic lines (how r u), using typical online conversational acronyms. It definitely would be nice if people did learn to deal with spammers, or even just learn to use their computer and operating system effectively. I like to take a few extra steps and get ahold of the provider than allowed that spam to reach me in the first place. Generally, I get no reply, and no spam from the domain again. I'll have to check into that XP dictation software you were talking about, since it sounds really handy. Hope you don't my post here. Cheers!
